Martyn Ware Returns! (The Human League, B.E.F., Heaven 17, Illustrious)

Martyn Ware returns as my very special guest. We discuss his recent sound installation, Adventures in the Electroverse, which I had the honour of attending the private premiere of on May 4th, 2024, at the NYC Cullture Club Gallery, located at the Oculus on the C-1 Level, South Concourse. Hoursto the public are Wed- Sunday, 12PM-7PM from May 5th until June 5th, 2024.

It must be heard and seen to be believed!

The 3-D sound Installation is based on hundreds of hours of interview audio, from his fabulous podcast, Electronically Yours with Martyn Ware, curated by his daughter, Elena, weaving a sonic tapestry of ambient music, co -composed by Martyn himself and his engineer, Charles "Chas" Stooke.

Martyn Ware Bio-

He was a founding Member of the Human League, British Electric Foundation (B.E.F.), and Heaven 17. He has produced tracks for Tina Turner's smash hit Private Dancer album (Let's Stay Together, 1984) and produced Sananda Maitreya's (the artist formerly known as Terence Trent D'arby) smash hit album, Introducing the Hardline According to ...

He is quite the renaissance man, working with 3-D soundscape technology with his company, Illustrious, along with co-founder Vince Clarke (Depeche Mode founder, Erasure). He has a fantastic podcast called Electronically Yours, and an autobiography of the same name (Vol. 1).

He's a lovely guy and knows a lot about a whole host of subjects, as you will see and hear. This is not to be missed!
